Understanding and Utilizing Level One Evaluation and Measurement

This presentation will examine level one evaluation and measurement functions, demands and possible problems. Level one evaluation and measurement benefits from by utilizing a systems perspective linking determining the business needs and the learner’s reactions. This link is most effectively established by using a discrepancies perspective. Evaluation is finding discrepancies between optimum performance and actual performance.  
    
 Professor Emeritus in Communication Studies at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  Prior to coming to the University of Alabama, he taught at the University of Evansville, Rutgers University New Brunswick, and the George Washington University.
