Fueling Alabama's Talent with EDPA
For an organization or community to realize its potential, talent development should be integrated into all components of talent strategy and workforce recruitment and retention. We know that future readiness requires curiosity and scanning of the environment to stay abreast of forces shaping the business world and the talent development profession. In this workshop, we will learn about the Talent Initiatives of the EDPA and their commitment to fueling future readiness by helping Alabama’s communities and employers attract and retain the talent they need. We will learn how Alabama is fostering environments that promote innovation and creativity to help position organizations and communities to become future focused.
She started her career in Birmingham, AL, establishing and developing a marketing department for the Alabama Golf Association (AGA) - an allied golf association of the United States Golf Association (USGA). Transplanting to Alabama and serving its people/communities through the game of golf, Audrey wanted to continue serving in a statewide capacity to catalyze wonderful impact throughout the state. The opportunity to create effective communications strategies and initiatives, impacting Alabama's talent pipeline, ecosystem of entrepreneurs and beyond is a true privilege for her.
