In a digitized age when so much of our training is consumed on our laptops and smart phones, the ability to deliver a live presentation that is both engaging and compelling couldn’t be more important. Unlike other mediums, a live trainer brings an undeniable presence to his or her audience. There is an element of unpredictability that comes with the back and forth exchange between trainers and learners.

The question then becomes, “How do I make an impact on my learners that will both engage them, and motivate them to change?” Whether you’re new to the trainer/facilitator role or you’ve been at it for some time, this hands-on session will provide you with an opportunity to practice using the tools that will lead to greater impact!

As a result of this session, learners will be able to :

1.    Prepare an introduction that is customized to a particular audience and immediately engages them.

2.    Organize content using various structures that make content flow logically and convincingly.

3.    Compare and contrast between closings that are passive and ineffective and those that are compelling and facilitate change.

These are just some of the dynamics that make a presentation come alive!

Trainers/Facilitators are able to see the immediate response to their content and make adjustments that ensure comprehension and understanding. Training in a live environment allows for a personal connection that will drive the point home. This is essential because those who function in the Learning and Development space are agents of change.
