  • Organic leaders pros & cons

Speaker: Amy Anzalone

Amy is a self-proclaimed genetic genealogy nerd who supports her constant building of family trees with her work as a human resource professional.  Exposed to the world of human resources as a result of her Master’s thesis on employment interviewing, she started her career in Birmingham by interviewing applicants for a temporary staffing company. From there, Amy moved to the health care industry as a health care recruiter.

Moving completely out of her comfort zone, she worked in human resource technology for several banks, followed by roles as an employee relations manager and talent management manager. In the years since Amy fell into human resources, she picked up a spouse, two children and two dogs.

Amy currently works as the Director of Human Resources for the Birmingham Marriott.
