The latest research in mental health, neurobiology, and psychology brings with it many implications for Talent & Development philosophy and practice. The research inspires a mind shift from a focus on financial and social impact in organizations to a more dynamic view based in psychological capital. The shift brings with it countless opportunities in the field of talent development.

At our November meeting, Doug Gray, PCC will bring the construct of PERMA to life. PERMA, which stands for positive emotions, engagement, relationship, meaning, and accomplishment. Doug has done extensive research and consulting on the subject of PERMA, which was introduced in Flourish (2012) by the father of modern psychology, Dr. Martin Seligman. The application of this construct promises immense value for the T&D profession.

Join us to learn how to apply positive psychology in your talent development practice and your life!
