The Career Development Manager is responsible for managing and improving the various career development strategies for Thompson Tractor. This position designs, implements, and drives sustainable training initiatives and solutions that educate and enhance the performance of our employees including new employee orientation, employee & career development, leadership development, employee engagement, and succession planning. The person will work closely with all department leaders to assess and understand the human capital needs of the company and will design and deliver solutions to meet those needs. The ability to build relationships with employees at all levels is critical for this position. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, sense of urgency, commitment to team work, enthusiasm for making a positive impact, customer service, and dedication to finding solutions in an efficient manner. The ability to develop and execute strategies for employee performance & improvement is essential.
Essential Responsibilities & Expectations
Functional Expert: Considered a thought leader on a subject
Bachelors or better.
3 years: 3+ years of training, coaching, and career development experience in a high performance environment; Previous Human Resources experience is a plus
