    Job Description:

    In partnership with the Talent Management team and reporting to the Director of Organization Performance, you will collaborate with HR, employees, and leaders to support organization-wide programs. We work closely with HR and business colleagues to design and develop talent management initiatives to support the development of employees throughout their lifecycle with the American Red Cross. Developing our employees helps them be prepared for the future needs of the business.


    The Talent Management Consultant may work in one or more of these areas:

    • Talent Reviews/Succession planning: Facilitate talent review process in partnership with HR generalists; Implement succession planning process steps; Recommend retention strategies for key employees; Understand implications of key employee departures;
    • Change Management: Model change leadership for others, ensuring a strong change management approach to drive adoption and success of all initiatives; Provide change management consulting; Identify change management needs and training opportunities for new initiatives to reach desired behaviors; Perform stakeholder analysis, develop sponsorship roadmaps, create communication plans and templates, provide resistance management and reinforcement ideas.
    • Employee Engagement: Participate in employee engagement activities, including administration of various surveys; conduct activities aligned with survey results and action plans; implement employee engagement strategies.
    • Facilitate meetings and trainings as requested


    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, or similar discipline preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years related work experience in talent management, succession planning, change management, employee engagement, organization development, or HR.
    • Strong background working with technology, using Microsoft products.
    • Ability to partner effectively with others and manage complex projects to achieve desired results.
    • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, strong time management skills
    • Projects professionalism and appropriate detail through communication skills: verbally, on paper, in emails, and in presentations.
    • Ability to operate independently with low supervision, while practicing high collaboration with colleagues.
    • Listens well and seeks clarification with an ability to learn and assimilate information quickly.
    • Ability to handle multiple priorities, effectively analyze problems, and recommend appropriate solutions.
    • Follows policies and procedures, maintains confidentiality and works with integrity and ethics.
    • Candidate will work remotely from their home office; can be based in any US city.
    • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
