    Job Description:

    In partnership with the Learning & Development and Executive Development teams, this individual will collaborate with facilitators, employees, HR partners and other stakeholders to support the coordination and delivery of employee, manager, and executive development programs. Will work closely with HR and business colleagues to streamline communications, increase productivity and effectiveness, reduce learning development and delivery costs, and improve operational quality.


    This position is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks within the Talent and Organization Development department supporting both the Learning & Development and Executive Development teams: 

    • Serve as primary administrative support for instructor-led sessions in the People Manager Development Program (PMDP) and Leadership Education and Development Program (LEAD).
    • Plan and execute daily course administration for facilitators, participants, and stakeholders, including program communications; coordination of in-person and virtual logistics, materials and resources; participant recognition; reporting program metrics; managing program-related documentation and correspondence; and assisting with learning management system (LMS) administration.
    • Provide office administration for instructor-led sessions: ensure accurate billing, coding, and payment of vendor invoices; order session materials; maintain online and physical inventory of training materials; and manage hotel contracts.
    • Analyze learning metrics, including trend analysis for learning programs and courses; contribute to dashboards and scorecards.
    • Research content in support of course development, practical tools, and learning program revisions.
    • Moderate or facilitate virtual instructor-led sessions; troubleshoot facilitation-related issues.
    • Enable the implementation, delivery and continuous improvement of employee and leadership development programs with the guidance of program and course managers: attend meetings; assist with stakeholder presentations; and update timelines and action plans.
    • Coordinate and promote cross-functional cooperation.
    • Identify and address logistical problems to ensure timely resolution; escalate when appropriate.


    • Candidate must be based in Washington, DC metropolitan area; telework with occasional office presence.
    • This individual will report to the Director of Learning & Development with a dotted line to the Executive Development Manager.


    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
    • Minimum one-year related work experience in program, business, or office administration.
    • Strong working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Skype for Business.
    • Listens well and seeks clarification with an ability to learn and assimilate information quickly.
    • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, strong time management skills, and professional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time with accuracy and thoroughness. Responds promptly.
    • Ability to handle multiple priorities, effectively analyze problems, and recommend appropriate solutions.
    • Follows policies and procedures, maintains confidentiality and works with integrity and ethics.
    • Operational flexibility to meet sudden and unpredictable business needs, willingness to work outside standard established business hours and an average amount of 5% of business travel are required.
