    To design, deliver, manage, and evaluate professional development programs for faculty and staff. Programs may be institution-wide or department-specific projects, and support a high performance and learning culture. The Organizational Development Specialist serves as a subject matter expert and consultant across the primary disciplines of team development, leadership development and OD. Other focus areas may include: 

    • Assessments, including 360 feedback
    • Performance Management
    • Leadership Development Programs
    • Management Development Programs
    • Team Effectiveness 
    • Employee engagement
    • Change management

    Key Responsibilities:
    • OD and performance consulting - provides OD services in consultation with leaders and senior managers to implement organization improvement initiatives and assure alignment with the organization’s strategic plans. Works with senior leaders to understand needs, diagnose issues and define solutions.
    • Coaching and team development - provides manager and team coaching, training, and facilitation in areas such team effectiveness, communication, and engagement
    • Leadership development and communication skills training - designs, develops, coordinates, implements and evaluates training, tools and resources to develop leaders at all levels, with a focus on frontline and mid-level managers. Trains trainers and assures instructional quality and appropriate content.
    • Other duties as assigned


    An earned Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Applied Behavioral Sciences, Business Administration or related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Master’s Degree or higher in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Organizational/Industrial Psychology, or Business STRONGLY preferred. 

    In search of robust talent experienced in advanced facilitation and management training, at professional level. Certification in any of the following highly desired: MBTI, DISC, 360 instruments, coaching, and other inventories (e.g., Hogan, Birkman, Korn Ferry competency modeling), and master facilitation. Consulting background, corporate experience helpful. Must come with strong team leadership and facilitation skills. Must be comfortable and competent delivering to specific audiences.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong management and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing; strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to effectively multitask large projects or initiatives; knowledge of adult learning principles related to curriculum design and development; strong customer service orientation with respect for diversity; extensive knowledge in all Microsoft programs;); demonstrates strong analytical and qualitative research experience; well organized; sound judgment; strong work ethic; and a high level of integrity and respect for confidentiality.

    ANNUAL RATE OF PAY:$52,228.80 - $70,000.00 (Commensurate with qualifications and experience)
